In a collaborative effort to commemorate its centenary, Samet joined hands with the Rotary Club of Greensboro to gift a unique carousel to the city. This project, supported by the City of Greensboro, the Rotary Club, and numerous generous donors, saw the carousel being donated to the Battleground Parks District, where it is currently managed by the Greensboro Science Center.

This carousel holds the distinction of being North Carolina’s largest, majestically perched atop a hill with a scenic view of the lake behind the Greensboro Science Center. It can accommodate seventy-two riders at a time, offering them a choice of fifty-six distinct, meticulously handcrafted wooden animals.

The exterior of the carousel stands at an impressive height of 43 feet, complemented by an adjacent building housing restrooms. The octagonal structure boasts custom-made partial window walls and drop-down garage-style doors with windows, enabling its operation throughout the year.
