- Samet collaborated with the Rotary Club of Greensboro in establishing the gift of a carousel to mark its 100th anniversary. The City of Greensboro, the Rotary Club of Greensboro, and many donors worked together to donate the carousel to the Battleground Parks District, where it is operated by the Greensboro Science Center.
- The carousel is the largest in North Carolina, and is located on top of a hill overlooking the lake behind the Greensboro Science Center. It seats seventy-two people on fifty-six unique, handmade, carved from wood animals.
- The outside structure of the carousel is 43’ high, with a combined adjacent building for restrooms. The octagonal structure is customized with partial window walls and drop-down, garage-style doors with windows, allowing it to operate year-round.
