The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system expanded Sharon Elementary School with a 37,000 square foot addition. This expansion includes 16 new classrooms and a larger dining area, allowing for more space to accommodate the school’s active campus life.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Samet, adapted swiftly and efficiently to ensure the safety of all involved. Traditional in-person bid openings were replaced with a drive-through bid drop-off system, minimizing contact and maintaining social distance. They also upheld CM@Risk bid guidelines by transitioning meetings to Zoom calls, demonstrating their commitment to safety without compromising on project requirements.

This proactive approach was carried forward throughout the construction process, highlighting Samet’s dedication to delivering quality work while prioritizing the health and well-being of everyone involved.
