Sandhills Center, a Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO), has recently established new Class 4 outpatient facilities in Guilford County. These facilities are specifically designed to address behavioral health crises.

As an LME/MCO, Sandhills Center is responsible for managing public mental health services, services for intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services. Their primary focus is on providing these crucial services to children and adolescents in the central region of North Carolina.
