The Forsyth County courthouse received a serious makeover to beef up security, make it easier for folks to get around, and bring in some fancy tech upgrades. This new courthouse is a whopping 250,679 square feet, making it 50% bigger than the old one.

Samet added 18 upgraded judicial spaces, complete with courtrooms and hearing rooms that are designed to work smoothly for both the court staff and the public. It was important to make sure this courthouse was super secure with security checkpoints, card access, and surveillance tools. Plus, the design included a way to move inmates from the Forsyth County Jail through an underground tunnel.
