This plastic injection mold plant is equipped with a 10-ton crane that serves as a crucial component in its production process. It also features multiple material and equipment mezzanines, which are used for storage and assembly work. Not only does this facility produce a range of products, including trays, table service displays, storage shelving, merchandising, and insulated transport products, but it also brought 100 jobs to the Mebane area.

Along with the building, extensive site work was carried out, which involved expanding the Norfolk Southern mainline railroad track and constructing a specific rail spur for the facility. The building contains 10,000 SF of space and was strategically built to grow and extend its range up to 500,000 SF.

We’ve done construction projects in California, Germany, Turkey and China. Of all those projects, our new 220,000 SF manufacturing/ distribution expansion project, planned, designed and constructed with Samet Corporation, in terms of scope, integration manufacturing detail and overall timing has been the best project experience I’ve had the privilege to be a part of.
