Safety Requirements
Samet's Safety Requirements
Workplace safety is a core area of focus at Samet, and we continually strive to maintain the
highest possible safety standards on all Samet projects. We are proud of our track record for
consistently achieving safety performance results on our worksites that are superior to industry norms.
A key to our success has been Samet's Subcontractor Safety Program, which is designed to
protect all employees, equipment, and people on or near our worksites from injury, accident
or loss. As a condition of doing business with Samet, all subcontractors must comply with
this program, in addition to all applicable local, state and federal safety and health
regulatory requirements.
We also require our subcontractors to participate with Samet in achieving and maintaining
North Carolina Department of Labor Building Star program requirements. This process includes
working with OSHA consultants who will help your company improve your safety program.
While we recognize Samet's safety standards and procedures may be more demanding than what
other General Contractors, Construction Managers or Design-Builders require, we believe our
uncompromising stance on safety has contributed significantly to our company's success.
