Position Description

As a Senior Superintendent in the Housing Group for Samet Corporation, you will:

  • work out of the Charlotte, NC office
  • provide field oversight for all phases of assigned education construction projects.
  • develop and manage project schedules.
  • manage subcontractor performance and relationships.
  • be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.

 Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must:

  • have a minimum of 7 years experience as a project superintendent in a commercial environment.
  • have experience with large, complex multi-family facilities.
  • have HUD experience

We prefer candidates who:

  • have moderate to excellent computer skills.
  • willing to travel and take remote assignments.
  • or proficient in Prolog
  • LEED GA or LEED AP designation
  • or familiar with BIM

Project Manager - Housing Group, Charlotte, NC

Position Description

As a Project Manager for the Housing Group of Samet Corporation you will:

  • work out of the Charlotte, NC office
  • manage multiple design-build, high volume commercial construction projects, including apartment complexes
  • coordinate and direct project design, permitting and construction from owner contact negotiating through project closeout

 Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must:

  • have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or relevant major from an accredited four-year college or university
  • have a minimum of 5 years’ project management experience in commercial construction
  • have demonstrate experience building in urban settings
  • have demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • excellent computer skills  
  • have a strong attention for detail

We prefer:

  • experience in wood frame construction
  • experience with Prolog
  • preference will be given to candidates living in the Charlotte, NC area
