Ron Rothrock

Ron joined Samet in 1982 as Vice President of Operations, and served as President, Construction from 1986
to 2009. As Executive Vice President, Business Development, Ron leads Samet’s LEED, green building and
sustainability initiatives. In addition, he leads development of advanced technical capabilities, such
as building integration modeling, a new process for optimizing energy efficiency and overall building
performance.
Ron has been involved in virtually every type of construction, including industrial, distribution, medical,
office, institutional, and historic renovation. Prior to joining Samet, Ron held engineering positions with a
manufacturing company and an architectural engineering firm, and served as VP in a design/build construction
firm.
Ron is a graduate of Forsyth Technical Community College, Program for Management Development at the UNCG
Bryan School of Business, and Leadership Triad. He is a licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Broker.
Ron has served on numerous charitable and civic committees and boards including Rotary International and the
Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship in Greensboro, NC.
