Workplace safety

The Carolina Star program recognizes companies with comprehensive safety & health programs for employees and sub-contractors. To be Building Star-certified, a company must have injury and illness incidence rates and lost workday case rates 50% below the state average for its type of business.

In 2003 Samet was among the first general contractors in the Piedmont Triad region to receive this prestigious designation, and we have maintained it continuously since then.

American Society for Healthcare Engineering

Construction Certification

Samet's Medical project team is ASHE Construction-certified. By obtaining and renewing this prestigious industry certification, our team stays abreast of the latest codes, guidelines, and best practices in healthcare construction.
