North Carolina Building Star
NC Dept. of Labor – OSH Division Workplace safety

Samet has maintained the North Carolina Building Star designation since 2003, and we were one of the first General Contractors in the state to earn this honor.

The Carolina Star program recognizes companies with comprehensive safety and health programs for employees and subcontractors.  To be Building Star-certified, a company must have injury and illness incident rates and lost workday case rates 50% below the state average for its type of business.

LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design)

Samet is a U.S. Green Building Council member, and many Samet associates have earned LEED AP (accredited professional) or LEED GA (green associate) status by demonstrating their thorough understanding of green building practices and principles.

Certified Healthcare Constructor Certification

Samet's Healthcare project team includes associates who have earned the CHC designation through ASHE. By obtaining and renewing this prestigious industry certification, our team stays abreast of the latest codes, guidelines, and best practices in healthcare construction.
